My work is about recreating stories in artificial places. Plastic objects are used in my images to create unexpected relationships between the object and its surroundings. Objects are distorted to create spaces and textures.  Plastic is introduced as the material that promises an ephemeral paradise, a disposable happiness, a passage to an empty and uncertain future, disposable perfection and artificial life. I use plastic to simulate stories as a reflection of my childhood, to enact fantasies, as a statement about the bubble wrap society I live in, the disposable culture, the loss of sensibility and the embrace of plastics as the cool material of our emptiness.
