October 11 - November 1 Opening Reception: October 11, 7:30pm – 11pm
Main Exhibit
Ralph Peters - 24 Hours
In the series "24 Hours" Ralf Peters is
reflecting the moment of simultaneousness.
He dissolves the visual antagonism between
the moment before and afterwards in one
image. The works represent the lightcycle
of one day, starting from the left at night,
passing daylight and ends again in the
darkness of the night. The time states are
not superposed one upon the other but set
side by side.

Trisha Brookbank - Hurdling Through Space At Uncontrollable Speeds…
In “Hurdling Through Space At Uncontrollable Speeds…”, Brookbank comments on the escapism found within a cinematic space
by examining the moments before a narrative
begins. She explores the anticipation and potential of those seconds through the language of a movie theater, and the metaphoric use of meteors hurdling through
space. By not creating a narrative of her own, she encourages viewers to create their own
potential narrative, and method of experience.
